The amazing Mission Valley is a combination of magnificent scenery,
temperate climate, abundant lakes and streams, native wildlife, lush
forests, and rich farmlands. The valley is nestled against the rugged
and unsurpassed beauty of the Mission Mountain Range. Rising to
10,000 feet, the glacier-covered Mission Mountains seem to jet out of
the fertile valley floor. The Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes
continue to protect the valley with the highest air and water quality
standards in the world. Today, a rich farming and ranching industry
abounds in the valley. Many valley ranchers and farmers supplement
their main crops with apple orchards. The temperate climate, clear air,
clean water, and fertile soil provide for excellent apple growing
conditions. This wine made from McIntosh apples is a medium sweet
slightly tart, white wine. Serve it chilled and it becomes a great addition
to most meals as well as being a great light after-dinner wine. Heat it
up, stir in some mulling spices and you have a wonderful hot-spiced
wine that will warm you up on a cold winter day.
