CHERRY RED WINE
Flathead Lake Winery is the only winery that uses 100% Montana grown grapes. This wine consists of 50% Montana-grown Pinot Noir wine and 50% Montana-grown Cherry wine. This is a 2007 vintage and was released in May 2010. It was aged on American Oak for 12 months and has hints of cherry and currant aromas with an oaky finish. It goes well with red meat meals.

The grapes used to make this wine were grown by Dudley and Ann Page in their vineyard on Flathead Lake's Finley Point. Dudley and Ann are considered to be the vineyard pioneers of Montana and have been successfully growing wine grapes on Finley Point since 1985. The cherries used to make this wine were picked from trees in excess of 35 years old at the Webster Family Orchard at Blue Bay on Flathead Lake. This was a limited run production that produced approximately 200 cases of wine. This wine was aged for one year in new American oak barrels.
