We are in the process of building
a new winery along the western
border of Glacier National Park
near the North Fork of the Flathead
River on the road to Polebridge,
Montana. We are 8.6 miles north
of Columbia Falls, Montana.

FLATHEAD LAKE WINERY
Flathead Lake Winery is a small, family-owned, craft winery
that specializes in small-batch wines made from Montana
fruit. We make wine from fruit that was either grown in
Montana or picked wild in Montana. Flathead Lake Winery was the 6th winery licensed in Montana and began operations in 2003. We hand make, hand fill, hand cork, and hand label each and every bottle.

MONTANA FINE WINES
Beautiful Flathead Lake, located in northwest Montana, is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Flathead Lake has been home to the Salish and Kootenai Indians for thousands of years. The sheer size of this large body of fresh water tempers the harsh Montana climate, allowing some of the finest fruit in the world to be grown along its shoreline. Other fruits used in our wines come from pristine areas around Montana including the land near Glacier National Park and the beautiful Mission Valley. Montana has some of the highest air and water quality in the world. This provides Mother Nature with perfect conditions for growing the ingredients for our fine Montana wines.
